Biography
I was born in 1970 and I'm a creative, professional photographer living in Nottingham England, and have been engaged in an arts related professional path for over 30 years. I love making a variety photography focused around my passion for portraiture. I create work for individuals, couples, families, professional people and organisations. I work with all ages and occasions in my studio and on location inclusive of wedding, family portraiture, headshots / business portraits and 'in action' shots to define brand identity and enhance communication with your ideal customer. I approach my work with an intuitive, fun and sensitive nature to produce photographs that align with your authentic personality and spirit, business aspirations and unique talents.
I have a lovely studio based in the creative hub of Sherwood Nottingham (with free parking) where we can work together or I can come to work with you at a location of your choice. I love to work with a variety of make up artists and hairdressers when required. I have a particular affinity with other creative practitioners / artists and I'm in my element when photographing dancers, actors, coaches, musicians and therapists. I offer various service packages to suit your budget and tailor my skills to meet what you need from your professional photography. Awards
In my youth, I was an international swimmer. I was awarded:
- National Championship medals,
- National Record Holder 1983,
- Nottingham Sports Personality of the Year 1986,
- Commonwealth Games Finalist medal 1986,
- British & English Swimming Team Member from 1981 to 1987.
I was awarded Grade 5 as a Flautist, Royal Schools of Music, - Post Graduate Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy (Masters Level) Birmingham University 2005.
